Event Mapping Review Process

Label:event mapping ,review process ,postback

1. Overview of the Mintegral Event Mapping Review process

After you've mapped your event(s), we'll review the mapping between your postback events and Mintegral events and show you a review status message to keep you informed on the process. Follow the directions in the corresponding status update message to take any action we suggest.

PRO TIP: Currently, regardless of your event passing or not passing our review, your ad delivery isn't affected. The review is to help you manage postback events. However, we recommend fixing any “Failed review” items promptly so Mintegral can use your data correctly to optimize performance.

  • Once you’ve mapped an event to a Mintegral event and the event starts posting back, Mintegral will review to ensure everything is working correctly. In our review, both of the following conditions must be met: “Mintegral event mapping is not empty,” and “Event postback is enabled.”
    • If your Mintegral event mapping is empty, the review status will be blank and your event won’t enter our review process.
    • If your event has a Mintegral mapping, but hasn't started postback yet, the status is "No data for review" and it won't enter our review process since there's no data to review.
  • When you add a new Mintegral event mapping for events, you will see the updated review status after about one hour.
  • If your event already has Mintegral event mapping, but your event just started postback, the system will review your postback events the next day.

EXAMPLE: If your event starts postback on Day T, the system will receive your postback events and start the review on Day T+1 (on Day T, the review status you will see is still "No data for review".) You can check the review status of corresponding events on the Manage Event page one day after the event starts postback.

2. Review Status Descriptions

Here are the four current review statuses and the suggested actions you may need to take:

Status

Status Explanation

Required Actions to Take

Review Passed

Your Mintegral event mapping has no issues.

No action needed.

Review Failed

Your event mapping has issues and the system will give messages like “We've identified this event as XX event'. Please update your Mintegral Event mapping to match it. If you think our identification of the event is incorrect, please contact your account team or submit a feedback form.

If you agree with the system’s review result, you can directly change your Mintegral event by re-mapping to the “XX event” suggested by our review system as follows:

If you disagree with the system’s review result, you can contact your account team or submit a feedback form for feedback. After filling out the form, it is generally processed within 24 hours (except on non-business days). We recommend submitting the form.Form instructions are as follows:

  • Click into the link to fill out the form:

  • Fill in the event description field in as much details as you can and submit:

  • After submission you can see the processing status and a Withdrawbutton:
    • If you no longer need the feedback, you can withdraw the form
    • If you want to resubmit with a new event description, withdraw first, then resubmit

Under Review

Either the postback volume over the past 7 days is less than 50 events, or your event metrics show abnormalities (see “FAQ” section for details).

Your event mapping is currently under manual review. You can wait for the update or submit the feedback form to speed things up.

No Data for Review

If no corresponding event data has been returned within the past 7 days, the review status is “No date for review.” Since no data has been received, your event will not enter the review process at this time.

If you want Mintegral to use this event to optimize your ad delivery performance, please enable postback data for the corresponding event.

b. For "Review Failed" events, you can modify the corresponding Mintegral event based on the review results and suggested actions.

c. For "Review Passed" events, modifying the Mintegral event will trigger a second review, and the review status will be updated based on the latest mapping.
